Day 9-A Trusting Wife

Once you are betrayed it’s often hard to trust. Something I am finding though is the Lord will continue to give you avenues and means of trusting Him in all situations and in all things.

Martin Luther said, “Pray, and let God worry.”

Isn’t that so true though? If we could just let go and give every ounce of trust fully in Him and His timing, I know I would be a lot different.

But isn’t that exactly what He wants from us, as women, as humans? Trusting Him to do His work in His time…which goes against everything in our flesh and nature to do. Yet we aren’t called to live in that nature.

No.

We are called to something more. Something bigger. Something that looks more like Him and less like us.

As I finished up my insane workout class I grabbed a “Spiritual Vitamin” they have outside the classroom. They are verses to carry with you as you leave. What would mine be today, but this…I pray it nourishes you just as much as it did me.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6
