A Point or a Difference

When you come into contact with someone, anyone, you have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. You may not know how or why, but God has orchestrated that moment for a reason. It is up to you how what path you choose. For many that choice will be to make a point. That means a combative nature, not willing to listen to the other person express their views, and often times, berating the person in order to make a point of being “right.” However, there are those who seek in every interaction and conversation to make a difference. That difference may not be in the other person, in may very well be within themselves. They go into that interaction open and willing to allow God to work through them in such a way that they alone could not.

On Questioning Tuesday, I ask you (and myself):

Are we trying to make a point or make a difference?

The difference is eternity to some people.
